On December 27, 2020, the second stimulus bill was officially passed.
This new bill gives $284 billion in financial assistance to the Paycheck Protection Program, with $15 billion set aside for live venues, independent movie theaters, and cultural institutions. An additional $20 billion is included for small businesses as part of the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program. Some businesses that did not qualify for the first round may now be eligible.
